Join Lindsay Erickson - RYT, Reiki Master & Integrative Nutrition Health Coach - for a 2 night wellness retreat in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

We'll be hosted by 1Tribe Farm, an operating sustainable farm and event space in Mount Sidney, VA that is committed to bringing people together through connecting with the land and with community ♥.

Together we'll spend time practicing yoga (outdoors if the weather allows!), sharing nourishing meals, enjoying our beautiful and peaceful surroundings, exploring the multi-dimensions of lasting self-care, and learning tools that can be brought home to support a grounded, peaceful fall and winter season.

As an extra special treat, the retreat is timed to coincide with the New Moon so we can share in an intention setting cacao ceremony ♥.

The Location

1Tribe Farm is situated on more than 300 acres in Augusta County, Virginia, less than 3 hours from Washington, DC. The farm's mission is to provide a retreat space where guests can renew their spirits and reconnect with nature through restful accommodations and nourishment, both physical and spiritual.


Comfortable shared accommodations will be provided in the charming restored Pure Alignment Farmhouse and The Summit House with beautiful vistas.



The Food

Jennifer Matthaei Cottrell, IAYT yoga therapist, E-RYT200 will be preparing nourishing and healthy meals for guests throughout the weekend. Her creations are flavorful, healthy, satisfying, and mindful of any dietary requests. Ingredients will be organic and locally sourced when possible. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available with every meal, and Jennifer may incorporate pasture raised meat from 1Tribe for those who would like!


Jennifer's culinary journey started at the tender age of 9, when she announced that she would do the shopping for, and preparation of the Saturday evening family dinner. The daughter of a working mother who prepared everything from scratch, she was mesmerized with every aspect of food preparation for as long as she can remember, though she did look forward to eating Beefaroni at her brother and sister in law’s house. :)

Fast forward to 2000: she became vegetarian on the advice of her acupuncturist, and hasn’t look back since.She has had private instruction in Cuban, Indian, Korean, and Thai cooking from restaurant owners and friends, and possesses a true love of food, and a passion for the Zen of food preparation.  As a Certified Yoga Therapist and Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, she loves to incorporate Ayurvedic principles in the kitchen. She is an avid recipe researcher, and loves to try out her newest discoveries in her home test kitchen on her husband, David, and his friends.

If you have ever been to Bend and Brews at Three Notched Collab house, or Yoga at Brix and Columns, you have probably tasted her vegan treats.
